Soon Rochester, NY will be among four U.S. cities that have both the tests and vaccines.
URMC was recently hired by PFIZER to test vaccines. Rochester General is tasked with recruiting 90 Rochester residents to participate in the first human trial of coronavirus vaccines.

Unlike traditional vaccines, the ones tested in Rochester will not contain fragments of the virus. Instead, the shot includes molecules known as Messenger RNA.
